THUD! Wendi hit the ground HARD. Dazed and confused from falling off the back of her mother’s broom, Wendi found herself stranded in the middle of a hayfield. Now she was stuck without transportation and not another witch in sight. “Why do these things always happen to me?” Wendi sighed. Her mother warned her to hold on tight but following directions wasn’t Wendi’s strong suit.
Known for her predicaments, Wendi dusted off her pointed hat and black cape and went in search of help. She came upon Mrs. Wipple who was outside sweeping off her farmhouse porch. The porch, decorated with pumpkins, cauldrons, and spooky skeletons, felt like home.
“Why is your perfectly good cauldron out on your porch?” questioned Wendi. Amused at Wendi’s costume and spirited attitude, Mrs. Wipple asked, “You do know Halloween isn’t until next week?”
Wendi needed a cauldron to mix her potion to send smoke signals for rescue. Wendi grabbed the cauldron and sprinted back to the field yelling, “I’m sorry!”
Wendi concocted her potion, waved her wand, and POOF out of nowhere appeared an Uber witch. “Hop on, and let’s talk about your manners,” winked Mrs. Wipple.
