I’m a girl with a dream of becoming a published author. For most of my life, I have used others’ books to teach my own children, my class, and even myself. Now, it’s my turn to write those books that I want children to read.
This is my very first step to making that dream come true. I am so excited to learn something new. Nothing makes me more excited than diving into something I know nothing about and learning something new at the end of each day.
I’m going to use this platform to document my journey and share my experiences as I discover what it takes to become a published author. It won’t always be pretty but my classroom’s motto was, in the words of Miss Frizzle, “It’s time to take chances, make mistakes, and get messy!”
